Just a quick little post before I head out. I just got back from the doctors and he has taken me off of work for a week. He said that he would like to take me off for good but wanted to play it by ear. The pelvic pain is still going strong as Im having a hard time getting around today, I have a mild case of depression and Im still throwing up in the morning. I must say, this pregnancy has been far from being fun. Why do people make it seem like its this beautiful walk in the park. You never hear anything bad until it happens to you.
Well hopefully I can take some of this time to pamper myself and then try to get things a little more organized around the house before the baby comes.

Bear slippers
Wispers to the baby
The second night that Andrew came home we were lying in bed and he had his hand rubbing my tummy feeling for the little one. He leaned over and wispered to the baby "I know that we have not yet met but I just wanted you to know that you and mommy and the two most important things in my world right now". He then leaned down and gently kissed the belly.
As he looked up at me I had tears running down my check. I dont think that I will ever forget that moment.

Winter has been saved thanks to my big sis!

You know your getting big when you physically cant do up your own jacket. I own 2 winter jackets and I cant do either of them up because of my growing belly. Well today my very kind and wonderful sister Andrea went to Old Navy and bought a maternity jacket for me. Mind you I do have to pay her back but it was on sale and it was one that I really liked. She also picked up a few tops which Im in need of.
Thanks big sis!!!!
Im so excited to try it on!

Visit from the parents

My mom and Rick were here this weekend for a very short visit. They have never stayed with me so I spent the entire week cleaning house, buying new bed sheets and towels and doing up a welcome basket full of fruit, crackers and munchies. The only reason that they came was to go to a funeral but atleast I got to see them for a few hours and they got to see me pregnant. The first night we sat on the couch together and mom rubbed my belly for over an hour. It was such an amazing feeling to have some attention towards the belly. This pregnancy has been very lonely since Im by myself 2-3 weeks out of every month. They left monday and I spent the first few hours crying like a little baby but I will get to see them at Christmas.
