I was talking to my nephew Jake tonight and he told me that he had come up with a name for the baby. When I asked what it was he said "Mister".
"Mister?" I said.
Yes, "Mister" because he will get all the respect with being called "Mr. Burgomaster" all the time!
How cute is that!! The only problem is that if I tell Andrew, he will probably want to call the baby that!

Daddy's Home!!
Well its settled, Andrew is home to stay.
We have been waiting to hear from Alcan all week but when we found ourselves waiting by the phone on Sunday we knew that the day had come. Andrew would have to go back to Grande Prairie. As he started packing for the trip I broke down and burst into tears, I couldnt let him go! The fear of him driving such a long distance by himself and knowing that he was going away for 2 weeks and that we are due in 2 weeks scared me. This is his first little baby and I wouldnt want him to miss the birth for anything, it wouldnt be fair.
We had plans for dinner that night and I really didnt want to go because I couldnt stop crying but on the other hand it would have been fair to Andrew. He deserves a home cooked meal with friends and family before he leaves. As I wiped away my tears for the night and tried to join in conversations a dear friend of the family offered Andrew a job. It doesnt pay much (less then half of what he was getting payed) so we will have to cut back expenses big time as it will be really tight but the main thing is that he is home.
He's home safe and sound and will get to experience the birth of his first born child!

Doctors Appointment 37.5weeks
Andrew and I just got back from another doctors appointment. I have sugar in my urine which they will keep an eye on and the baby has not yet dropped. Andrew thought that the baby had dropped because of how low my tummy is and that I have been having more pains then usual.
Hopefully by our next appointment something will have happened.

Guess who we saw??
I went to the doctors today with a dear friend of mine Jolene. The doctor ran all the usual tests and confirmed that the baby is head down..YA!!!! No wonder I was having a lot more pressure there.
He said that the head is down and he has his back towards my right side and his bum up by my ribs. I was feeling a lot of little body parts on the left side this past week and now I know for sure that it was his feet and legs.
Jolene was only to excited to hear his heart beat for the first time and when the doctor realized how excited her and I both were he asked if we wanted to "see" him.
He went to the next room and brought out the ultra sound machine!!!!
What an amazing site!! We got to see all his little body parts and I even asked the doctor to make sure that it was a boy. He had the cutest little face but was trying to hide it with his hand the whole time.
What a great way to spend the morning with a friend!

Labour Prediction
I was sent a "labour prediction quiz" and thought that it would be neat to see if it came true.
To be honest, it kind of scares me!!
I know that you were hoping that we weren't going to say this, but don't expect your baby to come early. Your baby is nice and comfy tucked away in your womb and has no interest in joining the rest of the world.

Update
I swear that everytime Andrew leaves for Grande Prairie it snows. I was up at 8am this morning shoveling the walkway and driveway and then it accured to me..."why am I shoveling the driveway when Andrew has the car for 2 weeks?" Oh well!
Right after I shoveled it started to snow again. A few hours later I heard my neighbor out there shoveling the rest for me. Bless his heart!
Today I will try to get the rest of the painting done in the spare room but now I have to be extra careful with the stool since last week I fell off of it and almost broke my foot. Oops!
I have been told that I shouldnt be doing these kind of things since Im due in 6 weeks but Im subborn and who else is going to do them for me?
