I made these the other day and I must say that they have to be one of the best chocolate chip cookies that we have ever had.
WARNING: the recipe does make alot of cookies so be prepared to eat lots and get fat or give them away and I only cooked them for 9mins.

Who needs to knock when I have figured out how to open the door?
As soon as Rylen hears Daddy having a shower he b-lines it to the bathroom door. He use to sit there banging away on the door hoping that someone would answer it for him but now he has figured out how to open it all by himself! As soon as he gets in he goes straight to the bathtub and tries to climb in.
Hey, if a child wants to have a shower then why not let him!!
Everytime this happens I get called in to strip Rylen down so he can play in the bathtub while Daddy has his shower.
Rylen is on the move!
There is no stopping this kid now, Rylen has to walk everywhere and all of the time. If we are stuck in the house due to bad weather he will even run around the living room doing laps! Andrew and I took him for a walk down the street the other day and this would have been the first time that he has gone for a walk by himself (on the street, in his runners with no stroller). Rylen walked the entire block all by himself and he was so proud of himself!!

New words (video)
You have to listen very closely to hear him but Rylen has a few new words. He can say "please" which sounds like "teas" and today he just learnt the word "ouch"

Hot (video)
One of Rylen's favorite words to say is "HOT". Any time mommy is at the stove cooking, Rylen will point to the food and say "hot, hot".

Lunch time!
Rylen fed himself apple sauce today without any help.
As you can see, it went everywhere!!
He's so proud of himself!!!
The stupid things we do just to get a little giggle (video)
The first thought that comes to mind is...DONT ASK!!!
I have no idea why Rylen finds it funny but everytime I talk to him in this stupid voice he giggles. Andrew says it sounds creepy but Rylen seems to love it.
The things we do for our children!
