Courtenay here we come!

Off to Courtenay we go!!!

Wednesday we caught the plane to Vancouver and what a nightmare. I swear I don't ever want to fly with a child again!!!! As we sat down, Rylen decided that it was a good time to have a fit. Not just any fit but a full on screaming, yelling, kicking tantrum! I knew that part of it was because he didn't have a nap that day and the other part was because its not fun when you have to be held down for 30 minutes.

5-10 minutes into the flight I ended up giving him gravel to see if that would help. Within 2 minutes Rylen looked a little "out of it" and within 3 minutes he was out like a light! The rest of the flight was nice and peaceful for everyone.

Once we arrived in Vancouver we had a little bit of a wait until the next flight. As we boarded the plane and we were getting ready for take-off Rylen was having fun and making people laugh. I feared the worst because the last flight so I actually warned the rest of the passengers.
"you might think he's cute now, just wait for the screaming!" I said.
To my surprise Rylen was great! I managed to occupy him for the entire flight.

We made it to Courtenay in good spirits and we will be having lots of fun for the next 2 weeks until the next plane ride.

WARNING!!!

These are very addictive!!

I only cooked them for 9minutes and this is a double batch so watch out!!

We all love to eat raw cookie dough but trust me on this one, these dont taste good raw!! and they are better eaten when they are cool or the next day.

Yummy in my tummy cookies!!

Rylen is always such a big help in the kitchen!
