I have heard all of the stories of your children bringing home new pets but when they are 2yrs old??!!!
Thats right, Rylen found 5 little baby kittens in our backyard (at our basement window)

OUCH!

On Friday night Rylen tripped and hit his head on the wall. The bump was so big that I ended up taking him to the hospital that night. This picture was taken 4 days later.

In the past 2 months...

Rylen has had his ups and downs...ok, mostly downs!

It all started with his ear infection- not fun!! After a week of feeling better he can down with that nasty bug and it put him in the hospital for 4 days! It started with vomiting for the first day, second day was diarrhea and when it got to the point of his lips and fingers turning blue we took him into the ER. He had to stay there for a few days due to fevers spiking ever hour. First it was an IV, then blood work. After that a little sedation and a catheter, more blood work, another sedation and another catheter and then finally we got to go home. After a week of feeling better he comes down with a nasty cough, runny nose and over all, feeling like crap! (might be Croup).

And to top it off, he gets his finger caught in a door!
Alot of 1 little guy to take but he's a tuff one!!!

Rylen even went grocery shopping to Safeway wearing one. As we were paying for our food I noticed that his hat was even made out of the Safeway flyer!!

Poor little Rylen

Friday morning Rylen wouldn't get out of bed. When I went in there to see him he was crying and gripping onto his ear.
I took him into the hospital by 8am

Came home to find out that he had a really bad ear infection. The poor little guy would move his head at all because it was so painful. He spent 12hrs in the same position unless I tried to move him.

Thank goodness for the Etch-a-sketch!

Raisin's anyone?

Too funny and too gross not to tell you!
Early morning at 5am Rylen and I are sitting in the living room eating Raisin Bran.
"Mmmm, raisin" Rylen says
Rylen picks up this very big raisin that was by the couch. No big deal, I buy the big raisin's all the time and Im always finding them around the house.
I look at the raisin and question the size.
Rylen licks it.
"Eewwww! Yucky!" and throws the raisin down.
I pick it up to look at it and low and behold... CAT POO!!
