I had a hard time with this colour. It was the same kind of paint as the blue but it was so streaky!! I couldn't get one clean coat on it. When I did the second coat (which was needed) it created lots of little air bubbles. Thank goodness most of this will be covered with a closet organizer, books, toys and clothes.
This picture is with the second coat of blue.
From the start we had problems with the paint. We bought 3 cans of CIL (1g of brown, 1g of blue and 1.5g of blue). The small can of blue I used first- no problems. When I opened the second can of blue it had completely separated and we only had it for a week! I tried mixing it but it was hopeless so Andrew took it back to the store. With some hassle, they gave the can a good old shake and sent Andrew on his way.
That night I finished the first coat.
The next day I was determined to finish up the blue. I opened the can up and it had separated again!! This time wasn't as bad but it was the only chance I had to get the painting done so I crossed my fingers hoping that it was going to turn out.
The next problem was with the brown as I had mentioned above.
Tomorrow I will paint the rest of the closet (white trim and drawers) and finish off the walls with a little brown.
