Tastes Good
Rylen just realized that he can control his hands. He is now grabbing onto things and holding on tight.
Of course the only place for objects and toys is in your mouth. I guess we are going to have to buy him some new chew toys.

Bag Sale
Well we hit another bag sale today. They changed the price now to $10 but its still so worth it! I managed to fill an entire garbage bag with clothes for Rylen.
So today I have spent the entire day doing laundry and now I have no room in his closet for all of his new clothes. I guess tomorrow will be spent rearranging his room.

Morning Laughs
Rylen and I went for a walk early this morning and closer to the end of it he started to fuss. I knew right away what the problem was. He had a messy diaper so we hurried home. After cleaning Rylen up I was unfolding the new diaper when Rylen decided to make another mess on the change table. I called for Andrew to give me a hand. I cleaned Rylen up again and handed him off to Andrew to hold. As I was trying to replace the change table cover Andrew yelled out "He's peeing on me! Get him off, get him off!"
I looked over and all I saw was Andrew standing in his underwear holding a naked baby with pee dripping all down the front of his chest. I burst out laughing!
Seeing that Rylen had stopped peeing I told him to hold on and I was hurrying to get things done. Then Andrew cried out again "He's still peeing on me! Quick grab a towel! Oh my god, get him off of me!" I guess Rylen wasn't finished after all.
(Remember Andrew is so freaked out by Rylen's body fluids that last time he sprayed Windex on himself)
I cupped my hand below to catch most of the pee which I knew was pointless but there was nothing else I could do. I was buckled over laughing so hard that I was crying. It was the funniest thing to see, a grown man being afraid of his sons pee. As soon as I got myself together I took Rylen to change him and Andrew headed straight for the shower.

Rylen's introduction to Mr.Panda
At Christmas time Andrew and I decided that we weren't going to buy anything for each other but when Christmas morning came he surprised me with a gift. He bought me a few things for the baby but he also bought this panda. It was the first thing that Andrew had bought for the baby. Since Rylen was born, Mr.Panda has been sitting in the crib watching over Rylen at night. For the first time today we introduced Mr.Panda to Rylen and he wouldn't put it down. This is also the first timethat Rylen has grabbed and chewed on a toy.
Andrew said it was one of the best feelings and he kept on saying how much he loved his little boy.

The best noise maker EVER!! (video)
We bought the kick start play gym for Rylen at a garage sale on Friday and he loves it! Right away he figured out that if he kicks the foot petal the toys will spin and make noise. We are not really a big fan of toys that are loud but this thing is great!
Guess who's a jumper?
For $30 we got an exersaucer, Tigger jolly jumper, 4 pairs of shoes, 2 pairs of slippers, a few clothes, 2 sun hats and a kick start play gym.
All too cozy
The last 2 days we having been bringing Rylen into bed with us in the morning because he sleeps better. Its such a nice wonderful feeling for all 3 of us to cozy up in bed together.
Too big for the sink
Rylen is too big for his baby bath tub so we started bathing him with Andrew in the big tub. Since Andrew doesn't always want to take a bath in lukewarm water (who can blame him?) we started bathing Rylen in the sink. Well he barely fits in there now!!!

Happy 3 months
Rylen turned 3 months yesterday so we decided to get him weighed ( just out of curiosity). Thinking that we has to be almost 20lbs but to our surprise he is only 16lbs! Since his last
weigh-in he has only gained 1.5lbs and that was last month. He must be getting longer and leaner because he is still growing out of lots of his clothes. Thank goodness for another "bag sale" next week!!
Rylen is sleeping more through the night now, 4-8hr stretches which has been really nice. He goes to bed anywhere from 8-10pm and wakes up at 4:00am for a feed and then again at 6:30am. He then wakes up at 7:00am just so Andrew can get up and cuddle with him in the chair for a few more hours. There are even nights where he sleep all night until 8:30am! Now thats nice!!
Rylen is getting more active night and day. At night time we will put him to bed in his crib only to find him completely in the opposite direction or he will some how be stuck in the corner of the crib. During the day it is very hard to get his diaper on. Every time we change him he thinks its funny to arch his back so we cant get the diaper on. He is very squirmy (as Andrew likes to put it).
He is also very ticklish and we think he is going to be left handed since he seems to be using it more then the right.

Good Morning
Just us relaxing in bed. Its so nice to sleep in until 10:30am and wake up to a smiling face in the morning.
